Located in the Illinois Valley, Foris is surrounded by several wilderness areas and is home the Oregon Caves National Monument. Almost 40 years ago, Foris began as one of Oregon’s winegrowing pioneers. Their vineyards have been described as some of the most unique in the state (Wine Enthusiast Magazine) and noted for producing some of the most Alsace like wines in the US (Robert Parker, The Wine Advocate). With their alpine environment, they specialize in Pinot Noir and Alsace whites of Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Riesling and Moscato, as well a dabbling with small batches of Bordeaux reds from the best vineyards in the warmer eastern reaches of the Rogue Valley.
